Monthly Makers - March 2025

Each month on the Sew Belle blog, I take the time to share some wonderful makers, creatives and small businesses.  This month I'm sharing three wonderful businesses from across the UK and Ireland.

Jordan Lily Designs
I'm a repeat customer of Jordan's and I love her jewellery so much.  Jordan is based in Cornwall and uses her skills in fine jewellery to create beautiful and unique pieces.  From sea glass to statement pieces, Jordan has a collection or style perfect for everyone.  Jordan also offers premium packaging and gift wrapping, allowing you to send her pieces directly to recipients if you so desire.

Kirsty Currie
Based in Oban, Kirsty is a paper artist and illustrator who uses tactile paper collage techniques to create prints, cards, and craft kits.  Kirsty draws inspiration from the landscapes and culture of Scotland, her unique style and attention to detail shines through in all her pieces.  I had the privilege of getting to know Kirsty as part of the Impact30 program with Highlands and Islands Enterprise, and thoroughly enjoyed her workshop where she helped us to make our own 'wee hoose' paper craft, it was so much fun and a great project for beginner crafters.

The Coffee Bothy
Located at the south end of the Isle of Skye is the Coffee Bothy, a cafe and coffee shop that serve delicous homemade food, and a wide range of homebaking.  The cosy atmosphere and friendly staff make this a must visit place on your Skye roadtrip, and because they're dog friendly, you may even meet Jinx, the gorgeous spaniel who belongs to the cafes owners.
